My primary aim as a therapist is to create a safe and comfortable environment where you can express yourself freely and without judgment. I believe in building a connection with those I serve, using humor and compassion as key tools in forging this bond.
Witnessing the growth and transformation of my clients is what drives me. I recognize that reaching out to a therapist can be daunting, but my experience has equipped me to help individuals navigate and overcome the internal and external barriers they face. My approach is rooted in a strengths-based and trauma-informed perspective, and by applying attachment theory, we can collaboratively work towards fostering healthy relationships with both yourself and the external world.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University in 2019. Since then, my focus has been on working with underrepresented communities. Over the past four years, I have dedicated myself to assisting clients who are HIV positive, grappling with challenges such as housing instability and substance use.
Each client I meet is a unique individual with their own story and life experiences, and I approach them with a sense of curiosity and a desire to understand their journey. I am eager to learn more about your story and to be a part of your path to growth and self-discovery.
